Especially if you're looking for an alternative to the traditional list, such as a honeymoon fund. Bliss list gave us the opportunity to ask our guests for donations but in a fun way, so that they could feel like they were actually purchasing something unique for us...and not just handing over a cheque. Chris & Sarah are very professional but at the same time really personable, and any queries were answered within a day - usually quicker! We unfortunately had a cashflow crisis 'mid-honeymoon' (through no fault of our own I hasten to add) - so we wrote a quick e-mail to Bliss List and Chris arranged a transfer of the available funds from our list, which was in our bank in a matter of days. "Bliss list was ideal for us as we wanted spending money for our honeymoon but it allowed our guests to feel like they were buying tangible items rather than just donating cash. As we were only having a small wedding, being charged a percentage rather than a fixed fee made sense and it was much less than other similar websites. The customer service was friendly and efficient and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them."

"We used Bliss List for our wedding gift list and would recommend it to everyone. It was very easy to set up and edit along the way. Our guests found it easy to purchase a gift for us and the customer service provided by Bliss List is outstanding. Commission rate is lower than most of the gift list websites we came across and they handle payments rather than Paypal. "We could not fault the service from Bliss List. The list was incredibly easy to set up and we could completely personalise it to ask for whatever we wanted- this was important to us as we did not ask for 'material' gifts but instead things such as honeymoon flights, a wine tasting tour on honeymoon, cocktails and romantic meals. We also added in a selection of charity gifts and many guests chose to give a combination of 'treats' and charity donations which was exactly what we wanted. None of the guests had any problems using the list and the money was transferred into our account just a couple of days after our wedding. We felt the commission was very reasonable compared to some of the other websites and it was reassuring to know we would never have to pay more than £50. As the credit card charges would have been the responsibility of the guests (which was made very clear as was the fact that bank transfers and cheques would NOT be charged), none of our guests chose to pay by card so no one was charged. I have a feeling that if the charges were picked up by the couple (as on many other websites) then a lot of the guests would have taken the 'easy option' of paying by card and we would have seen a lot less of our money! I would not hesitate to recommend Bliss List- we did a lot of research and I really feel this is the best value for money website and offers extremely good service."

"The service from Bliss List and Sarah and Chris was perfect. They kept regular contact with us about the status of our list, we were informed every time we received a gift. There were no set up fees and only paid 2.5% of the total value of the fund we received, which is capped at a maximum of £50, you can't beat that anywhere. We searched through many sites but no others offered the flexibility that todays day and age requires. We have lived together for 5 years and have all of the normal toasters and plates, so we were able to ask for money towards our honeymoon, cocktails by the pool, contributions towards a yacht cruise, a romantic meal for two, you can have anything you want and even add links to other websites. The service we received was fantastic, and I would certainly recommend to anyone, it's a shame we won't need to use them again, although there is always special birthday's or anniversaries I guess. "We heard of Bliss List through a close friend who had used them for their wedding months prior to ours. We emailed and asked questions etc and from that first email the service has been first class. Your emails are always replied to within a day,no question or query is ever a problem. They make the whole experience personal and stress free! I didn't panic about anything as they take care of it so well,there was never anything to worry about! Even when I ran out of cards to give to guests within days I had another pack posted out to me! "We decided to go with Bliss list because their comission rate was very reasonable compared with most other online companies. Like a lot of couples we only wanted money to help with the cost of our wedding as we have lived together for some time now and have enough salad bowls and dinner sets to last a lifetime. "A great website run by a friendly and helpful team. It is a very easy to use site that lets your guests give you cash but also feel like they are contributing to a specific item. This is useful when you need money for things that you cannot buy in a shop like a candle lit meal on the beach or a diving trip when you are on your honeymoon. It was useful to be able to have the money transferred to us in stages, you don't have to wait until a week after your wedding to get your hands on the cash! It comes in handy when you have to pay for things in advance as we did. "We found out about Bliss List after seeing a recommendation on a wedding forum. We looked at other sites but commission was so high that big chunks of our 'honeymoon' money would have disappeared. We decided to go ahead after checking the Bliss List website and reading the explanation of why Bliss List was set up. What struck us was a real sense of genuine motivation to create an efficient, low-cost and friendly service rather than just adding to the dominated market, yet another site driven by capitalising on couples getting married. The list itself, was so easy to set up and when guests started buying from the it, we got an email straight away, letting us know a gift had been bought. It was really lovely to get the emails and to read all the messages. None of the magic of receiving a gift was lost, which to me was really important. We drew our money out in stages, as we needed some before the wedding and then also before and during the honeymoon. Chris, would immediately arrange payment and email a statement to us, showing the breakdown of money sent. We had been apprehensive about using Bliss List, as it had seemed just too good to be true. But it was both 'good' and 'true' and we would recommend it to anyone. Many of our guests commented on what a fab idea and great service it was and some are using it now for their weddings. Bliss List work off recommendations and don't advertise which keeps the commission low. Though this sometimes means it can be harder finding them but as more people use them, the more this little gem of a company is getting known. We are delighted we found it and happy to pass on the good news! They are simply brilliant!!!"

"If your looking for a fast, easy and convienient way to set up your wedding gift list, then look no further than Bliss List. This site for us, was ideal from start to finish. Not only is it easy to set up, it allows you to choose exactly what gifts you want to place on it, from many different sites or places, not like others where you have to have, what they sell. The other good thing about this site compared to the majority of gift sites out there, is that they dont charge you a large fee for using it and certainly dont take a large piece of your fund at the end.
